Experienced Casual Medical Receptionist

An opportunity has presented for an Experienced Medical Receptionistto join a Specialist Clinic located in Robina. We are looking for experienced and highly motivated Medical Receptionist’s to join our Admin team. The successful candidate is willing to 2-3 days per week in our clinic in Robina.

The successful candidate would thrive in patient and customer care-based environments.

The person we are seeking must be motivated and have a passionate approach to providing outstanding customer service and enjoy working in a supportive team environment.

Essential attributes for this role

• An understanding of the Medicare billing system
• An understanding of the Private Health Insurance billing system
• An understanding of Allied Health billing
• Exceptional customer service skills

Essential Criteria

• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team environment
• Booking and rescheduling patient appointments
• Greeting patients and answering telephone enquiries
• Billing, scanning and filing
• General Administrative duties.
• Ensuring practice policies and procedures are correctly followed
• At least 2 years’ experience as a medical receptionist
• Strong knowledge of medical billing and medical terminology
• Strong organizational skills
• Enjoy working with a friendly focused team
• Professional phone manner
• Current Driver’s License
