Job Summary
Portland Park Medical Centre is situated within the town of Hamilton and we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable person to join our friendly Practice team as a part time medical receptionist. An ability to use your own initiative, work under pressure, be flexible and work as part of a team is essential. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
Experience in medical reception or similar role with knowledge of Vision and Docman is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. There is also the option to join the NHS Pension Scheme for the successful applicant.
The post is for 27 hours per week and the working pattern will be Monday 08:00-18:00, Tuesday 08:00-18:00 and Friday 08:00-18:00.
Starting hourly salary will be £14.25 per hour and please note only applicants who have been selected for interview will be contacted. Closing date is 06/11/2026
Pay: £14.25 per hour
Expected hours: 27.0 per week
