Medical Receptionist – Karrinyup & Hillarys

WA Psychiatry & ADHD Clinic is seeking a friendly, professional and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our administration team across our Karrinyup and Hillarys clinics.

About the Role

This full-time position involves providing reception and administrative support within a busy specialist mental health practice. The successful candidate will be required to work across our Karrinyup and Hillarys locations.

Comprehensive training will be provided, so previous medical reception experience is preferred but not essential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming patients and managing appointments
• Answering calls and patient enquiries
• Processing payments and Medicare claims
• Managing referrals, correspondence and patient records
• Liaising with psychiatrists, GPs and other healthcare providers
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the clinics

About You

We’re looking for someone who is professional, compassionate, organised and reliable, with strong communication skills and attention to detail. You should be comfortable working in a busy environment, maintaining confidentiality and managing competing priorities.

Experience with Xestro or similar medical software is advantageous but not essential.
