Medical Representative (MR) – Job Description

Position: Medical Representative (MR)

Experience: 1–3 years preferred; freshers with good communication skills may also apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Promote and introduce the company’s pharmaceutical, oncology, nephrology, critical care, and nutritional products to doctors, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and distributors.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Conduct regular doctor and hospital visits and provide product information.
• Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer network.
• Follow up on prescriptions, orders, payments, and product requirements.
• Coordinate with distributors and the internal sales team for smooth order execution.
• Maintain daily visit reports, sales reports, and customer records.
• Participate in medical conferences, product presentations, and promotional activities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; B.Sc./B.Pharm/BBA/other relevant qualifications preferred.
• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel and make regular field visits.
• Positive attitude, confidence, and target-oriented approach.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical/medical sales will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of the local healthcare and hospital market is preferred.
