Medical Representatives

Job Summary

Synermed Nigeria Limited is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to grow revenue and market share across Bauchi State. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare stakeholders, drive product visibility, and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell product to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, patent medicine vendors, and other healthcare outlets across Bauchi State
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the territory
• Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships
• Conduct regular customer visits following an agreed journey plan/route schedule
• Gather and report market intelligence, including competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer feedback
• Ensure product availability and visibility at point-of-sale outlets
• Organize and participate in product detailing, promotions, and awareness activities
• Manage order processing, delivery coordination, and timely collection of payments/receivables
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory reports
• Build and sustain strong professional relationships with key opinion leaders (doctors, pharmacists) in the territory
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and industry regulations

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biological Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in sales, preferably within the pharmaceutical, and healthcare industry
• Prior experience covering Bauchi State and the North-East region is an added advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets
• Good knowledge of the Bauchi State healthcare/pharmaceutical trade landscape
• Proficiency in Hausa is a strong advantage; fluency in English required
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, reporting tools)
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory

Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦500,000.00 per month
