Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant

We are a very busy office OB/GYN office and prior experience is a must. Candidates are required to be efficient and can multitask and troubleshoot problems.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe/Flex Medical Assistant. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately transcribe medical documentation and assist with various tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in the medical field.

Responsibilities:

• Record Keeping: Transcribe medical information accurately and efficiently.
• Documentation: medical reports, patient histories, coding and physical examinations accurately and efficiently
• Maintain electronic medical records systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organized
• Assist healthcare professionals with documentation during patient encounters
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation
• Follow established protocols and guidelines for medical documentation and record keeping
• Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines to protect patient privacy
• Act as medical assistant when appointed.

Skills:

• Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge

• Proficiency in medical documentation and transcribing.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• OB/Gyn and ECW experience is a required.

- Certified Medical Assistant is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting From $19 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
