Medical Technician (EEG Operations)

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, personable, and detail-oriented Medical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be dedicated to running EEG (Electroencephalogram) brain wave scans for our patients.

No prior EEG experience or specialized background is required! We will fully train you on how to set up and operate the equipment, guide patients through the process, and handle the paperwork. If you enjoy working directly with patients and want to learn a hands-on clinical skill, this is a great fit for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen Schedules: Review daily patient lists to determine who is scheduled and qualified for an EEG scan.
• Perform Scans: Set up and run the EEG program on patients according to our simple, established process.
• Patient Comfort: Guide patients into the room, explain the simple procedure, put them at ease, and keep them comfortable during the scan.
• Complete Paperwork: Fill out and file all required paperwork, test logs, and patient records following each session.
• Maintain Equipment: Keep testing areas clean, organized, and properly sanitized between patient visits.

• Basic Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using basic software for patient scheduling and test tracking.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Background in customer service, retail, or general medical assisting is a plus, but not required.
