Medical Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for performing professional laboratory work following established clinic procedures and performing chemical and biological tests on patient specimens for medical diagnosis.
2. Conducts laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses them to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
3. Analyzes bodily fluids like blood, urine, and spinal fluid, to determine the presence of normal and abnormal components.
4. Maintains the accuracy of all the machines in performing the daily quality control and standards.
5. Calibrates every open of new lot number reagents to ensure the reagent’s accuracy and to check its stability.
6. Performs other related functions as may be assigned.
