Medical Technologist

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients, clients, or healthcare providers
• Assist with inquiries regarding laboratory tests, appointments, medical services, and procedures
• Provide accurate information while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Verify patient information and insurance or account details
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
• Document every interaction accurately in the system
• Coordinate with laboratories, hospitals, doctors, or other departments when needed
• Escalate complex medical or customer concerns to the appropriate team
• Maintain excellent customer service and meet productivity and quality targets

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science or a related healthcare course
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Customer-service oriented and comfortable talking to patients or clients
• Computer literate and familiar with basic applications and systems
• Good listening, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
