Medical Technologist

We are seeking a Medical Technologist to perform clinical testing across multiple laboratory areas such as blood bank, microbiology, chemistry, hematology, or urinalysis.

Under the supervision of the Laboratory Medical Director, the role involves obtaining specimens, preparing samples, evaluating results, and ensuring accuracy and quality control.

The technologist will interpret test results, follow protocols for critical values, and maintain detailed documentation.

They will also provide orientation and supervision to less experienced staff and stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and procedures.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related science with approved clinical training, at least one year of laboratory experience , and a New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license .
