HO Gurgaon.

Only cardiologist for this role.

It will be contractual Job as you have to spend only 1-2 hr in a day from office (Mon to Fri)

Preferred candidate profile

To provide expert clinical guidance, medical interpretation, and risk assessment support to the life insurance underwriting function. This role ensures high-quality medical evaluation, consistent risk decisions, and supports governance, training, and strategic initiatives in medical underwriting

• Provide expert interpretation of medical records, diagnostic tests, and clinical histories.

• Review and analyse:

• Electrocardiograms (ECG)

• Treadmill Tests (TMT)

• Echocardiograms (2D Echo)

• Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT)

• Ultrasonography (USG)

• Other relevant diagnostic and laboratory reports

• Offer clinical opinions on mortality and morbidity impacts for life insurance applicants

• Advise underwriting teams on medical risk assessment and case decisions.

• Provide inputs for high-sum-assured and complex cases.

• Refine or review medical underwriting guidelines.

• Support facultative reinsurance discussions for medical assessment
