Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately according to prescriptions
• Administer medications to patients following established protocols and safety guidelines
• Provide compassionate patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering support during administration
• Maintain meticulous records of medication administration, inventory, and patient interactions
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and documentation of all pharmaceuticals in compliance with regulations
• Support medication reconciliation processes to verify patient information and prevent errors
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to monitor patient responses and report any adverse reactions or concerns

Requirements

• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar medication management role is highly preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
• Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality
• Certification or training in pharmacy technology or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
• Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
