What You'll Do

As a Medication Technician, you will work closely with our Wellness team and caregivers to support the health and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist residents with the self-administration of medications in accordance with physician orders, California RCFE requirements, and community policies
• Accurately document medication assistance and resident observations
• Maintain medication carts, medication records, and supplies
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Follow established medication procedures and documentation requirements
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, pharmacies, physicians, and healthcare providers as appropriate
• Assist residents with activities of daily living when needed
• Follow infection-control procedures and community policies
• Protect resident dignity, privacy, independence, and quality of life
• Work collaboratively with caregivers, Wellness staff, and community leadership

What We're Looking For

• Previous Medication Technician experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, senior living, or a related care setting preferred
• Must meet applicable California RCFE medication training and competency requirements
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Dependable and able to follow established procedures
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work the Friday-Monday schedule beginning at 1:00 PM
