Leisure Vale Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our Assisted Living team.

As a Medication Technician, you'll help ensure residents receive medications safely and accurately while working closely with caregivers and the Wellness Director to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to physician orders and California RCFE regulations.
• Accurately document medication administration and resident observations.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living when appropriate.
• Maintain medication carts, medication records, and supplies.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
• Follow infection control procedures and community policies.

Qualifications

• Previous Medication Technician experience in Assisted Living preferred.
• Must meet California RCFE requirements to administer medications.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
