Medication Technician (Part-Time, 7am - 3pm)

We are currently looking for a part-time Medication Technician for The Barclay at Tuckahoe. This position is for the 7am - 3pm, first shift. Candidates must be available to work this shift, including weekends and holidays.

Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:

• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations.
• Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Medication Technician License issued by the state
• CPR/First Aid
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
