About the Role

We are seeking an Intermediate Level Java Developer to join our Software Engineering team and collaborate with our customers operating in the banking sector, providing financial services and solutions.

The role focuses on developing custom software solutions by designing, coding and enhancing components across systems or applications. Modern frameworks and agile practices will be used to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

The position requires the ability to build knowledge and support the team while actively participating in problem-solving discussions.

The role also involves learning and applying established software development processes to deliver quality solutions, executing assigned tasks independently while seeking guidance when necessary to ensure accuracy, and identifying and resolving common technical issues by recognizing recurring patterns in software behavior.

Collaboration is an important part of the role, including sharing insights in team discussions and supporting collaborative problem solving. Continuous improvement of technical skills and understanding of project requirements is also expected to enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom software solutions in Java programming language by designing, coding and enhancing components across systems or applications.
• Use modern frameworks in Java ecosystem and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Java development .
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken.

Work Model

• Hybrid, 60% on-site.
• Remote-only work is not available.
• No travel required.
