Medium Rigid Drivers

We're looking for a reliable MR Drivers to join our not-for-profit client in Noble Park, collecting donated goods from local households and businesses and helping make a difference in the community.

If you enjoy being out on the road, meeting people and doing a job that has a genuine purpose, this could be a great fit.

The Details

• Location: Noble Park
• Pay Rate: $34.79 per hour
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

What's involved?

You'll be out and about across Melbourne, collecting donated furniture, household items and other goods from members of the community.

Your day will include:

• Driving an MR truck safely between collection locations
• Picking up donated goods from homes and businesses
• Loading and unloading items safely
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Being the face of the organisation when dealing with donors
• Completing collection paperwork and keeping accurate records
• Working as part of a supportive team
• Helping out with general warehouse duties when required

This is a hands-on role, so you'll need to be comfortable with some physical work and lifting.

What are we looking for?

We're after someone who is:

• MR licence or higher
• Experienced and confident behind the wheel
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable and punctual
• Friendly and approachable
• Comfortable speaking with members of the public
• Able to work independently while also being part of a team
• Safety-conscious with a professional attitude
