MEFPS Engineer

We are looking for a MEFPS Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and ensuring the proper design, installation, testing, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Sanitation systems within our facilities/projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor the installation, operation, and maintenance of MEFPS systems.
• Review and interpret engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with approved plans and standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other engineering disciplines for MEFPS-related works.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical proposals, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Philippine building, electrical, fire safety, plumbing, and sanitation codes and regulations.
• Monitor project progress and ensure that MEFPS works are completed according to schedule and specifications.
• Conduct and/or oversee testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MEFPS systems.
• Identify technical issues and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor the condition and performance of equipment and systems, including electrical systems, HVAC/mechanical equipment, fire protection systems, pumps, water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
• Prepare inspection reports, progress reports, punch lists, and other technical documentation.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs, cost estimates, procurement requirements, and technical evaluations.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure timely completion of engineering requirements.
• Recommend system improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Perform other related engineering duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• Licensed Engineer is an advantage/preferred.
• With experience in MEFPS/MEP, building facilities, construction, or project engineering.
• Knowledge of relevant Philippine engineering, building, fire safety, plumbing, and sanitation standards.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering plans and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering software is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willing to conduct site inspections and field work as required.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple engineering activities simultaneously
