Hammer & Nails is bringing a new standard of men’s grooming to Denver, and we’re looking for a Part-Time Member Concierge who knows how to make people feel welcome, taken care of, and excited to come back.

This isn’t a traditional front-desk position. Our Member Concierge is the first and last impression of the shop. You’ll build relationships with members, help keep the shop running smoothly, and create the elevated hospitality experience that separates Hammer & Nails from a traditional barbershop or salon.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome every member and guest into the shop and create an exceptional first impression
• Check guests in and out while keeping appointments running smoothly
• Answer phone calls, texts, and questions about services, memberships, and booking
• Build genuine relationships with members and learn their preferences
• Educate guests on Hammer & Nails memberships and help convert interested guests into members
• Schedule and rebook appointments
• Support membership retention by making sure members are getting value from their experience
• Assist with retail product recommendations and gift card sales
• Serve beer, wine, and other beverages to guests in accordance with shop policies
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and elevated front-of-house environment
• Work closely with our grooming artists and leadership team to create a seamless guest experience
• Assist with member events, community activations, and other shop initiatives

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Naturally enjoy talking to people and building relationships
• Have a hospitality-first mindset
• Are confident explaining products, services, and memberships without being overly sales-focused
• Are dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Can multitask while still making the person in front of you feel like the priority
• Bring positive energy and take ownership of the guest experience
• Are comfortable working evenings and weekends
• Have previous experience in hospitality, retail, fitness, salons/spas, restaurants, hotels, customer service, or sales

Experience in the grooming industry is not required. We can teach you Hammer & Nails. We’re looking for someone who already understands how to take care of people.

Position Details

Position: Part-Time Member Concierge
Location: Hammer & Nails – Denver Tech Center / Belleview Station
Schedule: Part-time, including some evenings and weekends
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay + opportunities to earn additional compensation through membership sales
