Member Service Representative

Member Service Representative | Full-Time | On-Site - Brainerd, MN

We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping people!

Do you enjoy working with people, solving problems, and making sure customers feel taken care of? We’re looking for a friendly, outgoing Member Service Representative to join our team!

In this role, you’ll work directly with members to help them with their accounts, loans, and other financial needs. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships, answer questions, find solutions, and help members make the most of the products and services we offer.

What you’ll do

• Open new accounts and help members with their existing accounts
• Interview, process, disburse, and service consumer and home equity loans
• Handle member requests such as transfers, withdrawals, check requests, CD transactions, and line-of-credit advances
• Recommend products and services based on each member’s needs

What we’re looking for

• Associate degree and two years of experience working at a financial institution is preferred
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable communicating with a variety of people
• Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and financial/loan software
• Takes initiative and can work independently with minimal supervision

Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, life insurance, 401k retirement plan, vacation, sick leave, short-term & long-term disability. The wage range for this position is $21 to $24 per hour. Medical exam, drug test, and background checks are required.
