Member Service Representative II

Community First Credit Union (CFCU), a $100 million financial institution, is seeking a goal-oriented Member Service Representative (MSR) to join our member service team. No evenings and no weekends.

The primary purpose of this position is to assist CFCU in living out our service statement, “To enrich the financial well-being of our members and the community we serve”.

The MSR is responsible for: 1) performing teller duties by receiving or paying out funds to members, 2) opening new accounts & servicing existing ones, 3) resolving issues & professionally handling members’ daily needs, and 4) interviewing & evaluating applicants to analyze credit history for loans & then submitting loan applications to Underwriting.

Additionally, the MSR provides guidance to members with respect to their credit & borrowing needs, as well as other information on the full range of credit union products & services including but not limited to savings accounts, checking accounts, certificates, and IRAs.

The ideal candidate will have a diverse background in frontline financial services (teller at a financial institution) and lending, the ability to multi-task, and possess strong interpersonal skills. A minimum of 2 years’ financial institution experience is preferred but not required.
