Membership Advisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Membership Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with current and prospective members, promoting our programmes, and ensuring an exceptional member experience. Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and prospective members warmly, providing information about programmes and facilities
• Assist with membership sign-ups, renewals, and enquiries both in person and via phone or email
• Promote membership packages and special offers to maximise engagement
• Organise and facilitate introductory sessions or demonstrations related to sports activities or fitness classes
• Maintain accurate records of member details and interactions using organisational software
• Support the delivery of sports coaching sessions or teaching activities as needed
• Provide guidance on anatomy knowledge to help members understand injury prevention and optimise performance
• Foster positive relationships with members to encourage retention and satisfaction
• Collaborate with team members to organise events or programmes that enhance member experience
• Maintain club cleanliness standards through daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks

Qualifications

• Experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable
• Minimum 2 years sales experience within the health & fitness sector prefferable
• Minimum Level 2 PT/ Gym Instructor qualification
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and its application in sports or fitness settings
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse range of individuals
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Passionate about health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals
• Previous experience in customer service or sales is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
