What they need
Job Summary
The Tennessee Association for Home Care (TAHC) is a nonprofit trade association with more than 40 years of history representing and supporting home care providers across Tennessee. Our members include home health, hospice, private duty nursing, and personal support service agencies that provide care to Tennesseans in their homes. TAHC works on behalf of these organizations by advocating for the industry, providing education and resources, keeping members informed about issues that affect their businesses, and creating opportunities for providers to connect and learn from one another.
TAHC is seeking a highly organized, proactive Membership and Programs Coordinator to help us serve our members and grow the association. This person will help recruit new member organizations, build relationships with current members, coordinate conferences, workshops, webinars, and other educational programs, and support the day-to-day work of the association.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys working with people, promoting programs, coordinating events, and keeping multiple projects organized. Because TAHC is a small organization, this role offers the opportunity to be involved in many different areas and take real ownership of projects. The position requires initiative, attention to detail, comfort learning and using technology and AI tools, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. Occasional travel within Tennessee is required for conferences, meetings, and other TAHC events.
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must currently reside in Tennessee.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead membership recruitment efforts, including developing and implementing strategies to recruit new members and re-engage lapsed members.
- Build relationships with prospective and current members and promote the value of TAHC membership.
- Manage membership renewals, communications, records, and invoicing.
- Coordinate conferences, workshops, webinars, and other educational programs, including speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, registration, and event logistics.
- Develop marketing materials, email campaigns, and other communications promoting membership, programs, and events.
- Actively manage TAHC's social media presence and maintain a consistent organizational voice.
- Maintain and update TAHC's website, membership database, and other digital platforms.
- Use AI and other technology tools to increase productivity and enhance communications, marketing, and administrative processes.
- Track membership and program data, prepare reports, and support committees and volunteers.
- Respond professionally and promptly to member and stakeholder inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- One to three years of experience in membership services, marketing, event planning, association/nonprofit work, customer service, or a related field preferred. Strong early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning database and technology platforms.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media, email marketing, website management, and/or AI tools preferred.
- Experience with YourMembership or another association management system is a plus.
- Home care or association experience is a plus.
Pay: $53,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- 401(k) matching
- Life insurance
- Paid time off
- Parental leave
- Professional development assistance
