Job Description

The San Jose Chamber of Commerce is seeking an organized and personable Membership Coordinator to support member services, engagement, and day-to-day membership operations. This role works with local businesses and community partners to provide responsive service, maintain membership records, and support programs and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to membership inquiries and provide timely assistance to members.
• Maintain accurate membership records and account information.
• Assist with new member onboarding and renewals.
• Communicate membership benefits, programs, and upcoming events.
• Support membership outreach and engagement activities.
• Coordinate meeting and event logistics when needed.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and membership materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams and community partners.
• Provide professional customer service to chamber members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in membership services, customer service, administration, or coordination preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Comfortable working with databases, email, and Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Professional and friendly approach when working with business members and community partners.
