The International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC) Hong Kong and Macau chapter (www.iarfc-hk.org) is a part of a global network dedicated to advancing the financial planning profession.  We empower Financial Planning practitioners through premier education, professional certification, and impactful industry events across the region.

As we expand our impact across Hong Kong, Macau, and Greater China, we are looking for a proactive, growth-minded Membership Development Officer to drive key initiatives and shape the future of our community.

Key Responsibilities

l   Member Growth and Engagement:  Drive recruitment initiatives, enhance member experience, and maintain excellent relationship management with professionals.

l   Event and Program Management:  End-to-end coordination, promotion, and execution of continuing education programs, professional workshops, and flagship conferences.

l   Strategic Partnerships:  Collaborate with tertiary education institutions, regional sister entities, and international financial planning associations.

l   Global Liaison:  Serve as a key operational liaison between the local chapter, regional entities, and the US headquarters.

l   Operational Excellence:  Support core administrative and operational workflows to ensure seamless chapter management.

Candidate Profile

l   Education:  Tertiary education graduate (Degree or Higher Diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or related disciplines preferred).

l   Communication Skills:  Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).

l   Digital and Tech Savvy:  Proficient in IT, digital tools, and standard office software.

l   Mindset: Passionate about community building, networking, and professional service.

l   Work Style:  A collaborative team player who is also self-motivated and capable of taking ownership of projects with minimal supervision.
