Pay: $75,000 - $80,000 per year

About the Opportunity

Quantum Care Place of El Dorado Hills is seeking a Memory Care Director to support a safe, compassionate, person-centered environment for residents and families and to provide leadership for memory-care services.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily memory-care operations in alignment with resident dignity, rights, privacy, safety, and individualized service needs.
• Coordinate resident assessments, individualized service plans, care documentation, and updates when resident needs or conditions change.
• Supervise, coach, schedule, and support care staff and promote consistent follow-through on resident services.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, nurses, care staff, and community leadership regarding resident needs and changes in condition.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, resident concerns, and family questions in a calm and professional manner.
• Support admissions, transfers, discharges, care conferences, quality-improvement activities, audits, staff training, and regulatory readiness.
• Monitor medication, supplies, documentation, resident-service delivery, safety, infection control, and resident-rights practices.
• Help create a warm, calm, engaging community experience for residents living with memory loss and their families.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising care services in assisted living, memory care, senior living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting.
• Nursing license or other California-required qualification for the scope of the position, if applicable.
• Strong knowledge of resident assessments, individualized service planning, care documentation, dementia-support practices, and resident rights.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, problem-solving, and family-partnership skills.
• Ability to work throughout the community, respond to changing resident needs, and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Ability to meet required California health screening, training, background-check, and other facility requirements.
