Mendix Community Lead / Chapter Lead

Location:Brussels, Belgium

Work Model: Hybrid - minimum 2 days per week on-site

Eligibility: a valid Belgium work permit is mandatory

About the Role

We are looking for a Mendix Community Lead to support and grow the Mendix ecosystem within a leading organization in the banking sector.

This role combines technical expertise, coaching, stakeholder management, and leadership. You will act as the go-to person for Mendix, helping developers, promoting best practices, and ensuring consistent use of the platform across different Agile teams.

Profile

• • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Mendix.
• • Strong knowledge of Mendix development, best practices, and application lifecycle management.
• • Experience leading, coaching, or supporting developers.
• • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• • Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
• • Experience in Agile/Scrum environment

Requirements

• • Solid hands-on experience with Mendix development.
• • Mendix certification is a strong plus.
• • Experience leading, coaching, or supporting development teams.
• • Strong understanding of software development practices and lifecycle management.
• • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• • Banking or financial sector experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• • Coordinate and support the internal Mendix community.
• • Coach and mentor Mendix developers.
• • Help resolve technical issues and provide guidance when needed.
• • Ensure Mendix applications remain up to date and follow best practices.
• • Promote consistency and quality across Mendix projects.
• • Contribute to the development of Mendix applications when required.
• • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders.
• • Act as the main point of contact with Mendix for technical and contractual matters.
