MEP & Civil Draftsman

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented MEP & Civil Draftsman to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have strong technical drafting skills and practical experience in both MEP and Civil works, with the ability to prepare accurate drawings based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and maintain Civil, Architectural, and MEP drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Prepare detailed drawings for Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Prepare civil drawings including layouts, plans, sections, details, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and civil drawings to identify and resolve clashes.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements before preparing shop drawings.
• Prepare Shop Drawings, As-Built Drawings, and Coordination Drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Make revisions to drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and engineering instructions.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and authority requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction or contracting.
• Strong experience in AutoCAD.
• Practical knowledge of MEP and Civil construction drawings.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
• Experience preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Qatar construction experience is preferred.
• Candidates currently available in Qatar with a valid QID are preferred.
