Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated MEP Design Engineer to handle design and documentation of Electrical, Plumbing (PHE), and Fire Fighting systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing schematic designs, shop drawings, and design calculations in compliance with relevant codes and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of MEP schematic designs in coordination with architectural and structural drawings
• Preparation of detailed shop drawings for:

Electrical systems

Plumbing (Water Supply, Drainage & Sanitary)

Fire Fighting systems

• Electrical design including:

Load calculations

SLDs (Single Line Diagrams)

Lighting & power layouts

Earthing & lightning protection systems

• Design of water supply, drainage & sanitary systems as per NBC and local norms
• Design of Fire Fighting systems (Hydrant, Sprinkler, Hose Reel) as per NBC / IS Codes
• Preparation of design calculations, technical specifications & reports
• Preparation & verification of Engineering BOQ / Quantity Take-offs
• Coordination with architects and structural consultants for clash-free designs
• Preparation of documents for statutory approvals (Electrical, Fire, Water Authority, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with NBC, IS Codes, and local authority regulations
• Value engineering and system optimization without compromising safety
• Design support during tendering and execution stages
• Review of material submittals for MEP works
• Preparation of as-built drawings and project close-out documentation

Candidate Requirements:

Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP design

Basic understanding of approval procedures

Strong coordination and documentation skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
