MEP Design Engineer (HVAC)

We are looking for an MEP Design Engineer (HVAC) to join our partner's team and develop tailored HVAC solutions based on our clients’ technical requirements and project needs.

The ideal candidate is a Mechanical Engineer with at least 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC design or MEP engineering, capable of assessing project requirements, selecting appropriate equipment, and designing complete, efficient, and reliable HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review client requirements, project specifications, and technical documentation to determine the most suitable HVAC solution.
• Design and develop HVAC systems tailored to specific project requirements.
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations, system sizing, and other relevant engineering calculations.
• Select appropriate HVAC equipment and components based on technical specifications, performance, and energy efficiency.
• Prepare technical drawings, layouts, equipment schedules, and design documentation.
• Evaluate project constraints and propose practical, cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, MEP teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
• Ensure that designs comply with applicable technical standards, regulations, and project requirements.
• Provide technical support and clarifications throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC design, MEP engineering, or mechanical building-services engineering.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems, design principles, equipment selection, and system sizing.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit MEP or similar design software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
