Job Description

Shafa Group is looking for an experienced and highly motivated MEP Draftsman to join our Building Division in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate must have 10–12 years of UAE experience in building construction, with mandatory experience in luxury villas and high-end residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop coordinated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing layouts, including HVAC, drainage, water supply, lighting, power, and low-current systems.
• Prepare MEP coordination drawings and builder's work drawings.
• Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and interior fit-out drawings.
• Review IFC drawings, tender drawings, project specifications, and consultant requirements.
• Identify and resolve clashes between MEP services and other building systems.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments and site requirements.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, site engineers, and project teams to resolve technical and drawing-related issues.
• Ensure drawings comply with UAE authority regulations, applicable standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, documentation, and document control.
• Provide accurate and timely drawings to support project execution.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10–12 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman in the UAE.
• Mandatory experience in luxury villa and high-end residential projects.
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and other MEP systems.
• Proven experience in MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination, clash detection, and construction methodologies.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,500.00 per month
