MEP Draughtsman (Landscape)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams for landscape lighting, power points, pump stations, irrigation controllers, and other outdoor systems.
• Create as-built drawings, cable routing plans, and load distribution charts in coordination with site and design teams.
• Draw Plans, section, elevations using latest computer-aided design and drafting (CAD Software) as per Government or similar Authority Standards
• Produce drawings and diagrams according to the given specifications, tenders, BOQ's
• Check all drawings and calculations for errors and omissions
• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements
• Compile data and specification sheets
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, technicians and other personnel to incorporate concepts, updates and site specific information into drawing
• Calculate area's, length's, quantities and take off's from the drawing
• Identify, highlight to project manager and list the items and areas not included in the BOQ from the tender drawings
• Prepare As Built drawings in line with site progress
• Prepare shop drawings with speed and accuracy using relevant industry standards
• Ensure timely submission of Drawings
• Maintain and operate associated plotters and printers
• Maintain the filing, storage and retrieval of both manual and electronic drawings
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to frequent project changes
• Accommodate safety procedures and issues in construction drawings
• Engage in legacy or close out projects to complete all drawings as per required standards
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Technical Manager
