MEP Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all MEP installations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, ELV) from shop‑drawing stage to testing, commissioning, and handover.rfsonshr+2
• Review and approve MEP shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals in coordination with consultants, architects, and other disciplines.linkedin+1
• Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defence, and other UAE authority requirements for MEP systems.rfsonshr+2
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and progress monitoring; resolve technical issues, RFIs, and site conflicts.linkedin+2
• Coordinate MEP works with structural, architectural, and civil teams, including BIM/Revit coordination where applicable.rfsonshr+1
• Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and progress reports; support project planning and scheduling.linkedin+1
• Oversee testing & commissioning, snagging/de‑snagging, and final handover of MEP systems.rfsonshr+1
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards and safe work practices on site.linkedin+1

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering (or related field).linkedin+2
• Minimum 2**–3 years of UAE experience** in MEP works for buildings/villas/commercial or residential projects (G+4 and above preferred).rfsonshr+3
• Strong knowledge of UAE codes and standards: DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, NFPA, ASHRAE, etc.rfsonshr+2
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit MEP / BIM coordination is an advantage.rfsonshr+1
• Good command of English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
