The Role

We are seeking a technically capable and detail-oriented MEP Engineer to support the planning, coordination, review, and optimization of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This part-time, fully remote role is suited to an engineer who can coordinate technical requirements, review designs and documentation, and work effectively with contractors, consultants, project teams, and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will contribute to efficient project delivery, system performance, compliance, and cost-effective engineering decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering activities across assigned projects.
• Review MEP drawings, technical specifications, calculations, schedules, and related documentation.
• Coordinate MEP requirements with architectural, structural, civil, and other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor project progress, technical deliverables, quality standards, and engineering requirements.
• Identify design conflicts, technical issues, and coordination risks and support timely resolution.
• Review contractor and supplier submissions for technical alignment and project requirements.
• Support equipment selection, system optimization, energy-efficiency initiatives, and technical evaluations.
• Maintain accurate engineering records, reports, meeting notes, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams on technical matters.
• Provide practical recommendations to improve system reliability, efficiency, safety, and project outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in MEP engineering, building services, construction, facilities, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building-services systems.
• Knowledge of engineering design principles, technical documentation, project coordination, and quality requirements.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and digital design or project-management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good understanding of health, safety, environmental, and engineering compliance principles.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple technical priorities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote and on-site project teams.
