MEP Engineer

About the role

Konstruksi is seeking a talented and experienced MEP Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Bali. This is a full-time position that will play a critical role in the design, coordination, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across our diverse construction projects. As an MEP Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that all building services are efficiently designed, properly integrated, and delivered to the highest standards. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting infrastructure and construction projects whilst being part of a forward-thinking engineering company in one of Indonesia's most vibrant locations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects
• Prepare detailed MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using industry-standard software and CAD tools
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other design disciplines to ensure seamless integration of building services
• Conduct site inspections and supervise MEP installations to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
• Perform load calculations, system sizing, and energy efficiency analyses for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Prepare bill of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents for MEP systems
• Review and approve MEP contractor submissions, shop drawings, and installation plans
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions during construction phases
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an MEP Engineer in the construction or building services sector
• Proficiency in MEP design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar CAD applications
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC design, ductwork, and piping systems
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting design, and fire safety systems
• Solid expertise in plumbing and sanitary systems design
• Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and 3D coordination practices
• Knowledge of Indonesian building codes and international standards such as SNI (Standar Nasional Indonesia)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Professional Engineering qualification or registration is advantageous
• Experience with construction project management and site supervision is preferred
