MEP Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MEP Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, coordination, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all MEP works are executed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP activities throughout the project lifecycle.

• Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other MEP systems.

• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.

• Prepare project schedules, progress reports, material requirements, and technical documentation.

• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues to maintain project quality and timelines.

• Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work progress as per approved drawings and contracts.

• Coordinate procurement of MEP materials and ensure timely availability at the project site.

• Support project handover by ensuring successful testing, commissioning, documentation, and client approvals.

  Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (with relevant MEP experience).

• 3-8 years of experience in MEP engineering for commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.

• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team management skills.

• Experience in high-rise buildings, industrial projects, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Knowledge of estimation, quantity verification, BOQ preparation, and vendor coordination.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under project deadlines.
