MEP Engineer

We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer with strong hands-on experience in MEP fit-out projects. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of GCC experience in the same field, preferably in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and coordinate daily MEP fit-out works at site.

· Manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting and fire alarm installations.

· Read and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings and specifications.

· Coordinate MEP works with civil, architectural and interior fit-out teams.

· Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.

· Monitor site progress, manpower, materials and installation quality.

· Raise and follow up on inspections, RFIs, material approvals and related documentation.

· Identify and resolve site coordination issues and MEP clashes.

· Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications and applicable UAE/GCC standards.

· Coordinate testing, commissioning and project handover.

· Prepare progress reports and assist with as-built documentation.

Requirements

· Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant qualification.

· Minimum 3 years of GCC experience specifically in MEP Fit-Out projects – mandatory.

· Strong knowledge of MEP installation and site coordination.

· Ability to read MEP/shop drawings.

· Experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, residential or office fit-out projects.

· Good communication and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred.

· UAE driving license is an advantage.

Important: Candidates with general construction, maintenance, or infrastructure experience but without relevant GCC MEP Fit-Out experience will not be considered.

Pay: From AED1.00 per month
