Job Summary We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on MEP Engineer to oversee and coordinate complete Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) works for a premium residential high-rise building project in Dhaka.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical systems and distribution
• Plumbing, water supply and drainage systems
• Firefighting, fire alarm and fire safety systems
• HVAC and ventilation systems
• Generator, substation, MDB/DB and electrical distribution coordination
• Pumps, water tanks and associated services
• Review MEP drawings and ensure execution strictly according to approved designs and specifications
• Coordinate MEP works with architectural, structural and civil works
• Supervise contractors, workmanship and materials
• Oversee testing and commissioning
• Identify potential MEP problems before execution and provide practical solutions
• Ensure required standards of quality, safety and timely completion

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline from a recognized university.
• Professional certification or additional training in MEP, HVAC, Fire Protection or Building Services Engineering will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant professional experience in MEP works, preferably in high-rise residential construction.
• Proven hands-on experience in 9–10 storied or higher residential buildings is mandatory.
• Strong practical knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Experience in premium/high-quality residential projects will be strongly preferred.
• Must be capable of independently supervising and coordinating complete MEP works at site.
• Strong ability to read and review MEP, architectural, structural and coordination drawings.
• Ability to identify MEP clashes and resolve practical site-related technical issues.

IMPORTANT We are looking for a genuinely experienced SITE MEP Engineer - not a fresh graduate. Candidates must have direct experience in completing or substantially supervising 9-10 stored or higher residential buildings.
