MEP Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Fit-Out MEP Engineer to manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all MEP activities are executed efficiently, meet quality standards, and comply with project specifications and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs for fit-out projects
• Coordinate with design, architectural, and site teams to ensure smooth execution
• Supervise installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Ensure all MEP works are carried out as per approved drawings and standards
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for MEP-related activities
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure timely project delivery
• Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and safety standards
• Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in MEP works within fit-out/interior projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Experience with UAE authority approvals and standards (e.g., DEWA, Civil Defense)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, retail, or hospitality fit-out projects
• Knowledge of project management tools and software
• UAE driving license
