MEP Engineer (FM)

We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer with a strong Facilities Management background to manage and supervise MEP maintenance activities across managed facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage planned preventive maintenance (PPM), corrective and reactive maintenance for MEP systems.
• Monitor and coordinate maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and associated building services .
• Conduct routine inspections, identify defects and ensure timely rectification.
• Supervise technicians, specialist subcontractors and service providers.
• Monitor work orders through CAFM/CMMS systems , ensuring proper updates and timely closure.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet contractual SLA/KPI requirements .
• Troubleshoot MEP issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Review PPM schedules, checklists, service reports and technical documentation.
• Prepare maintenance reports, incident reports and technical observations.
• Coordinate with clients, internal FM teams, vendors and subcontractors.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship and completion of assigned activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE, quality and FM operational requirements .
• Support asset condition inspections, snagging and handover/rectification activities.
• Assist with emergency breakdowns and critical MEP maintenance issues.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering , or relevant engineering qualification.
• Facilities Management / Building Maintenance experience is mandatory.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems .
• Hands-on experience with PPM, reactive maintenance, breakdowns and work-order management .
• Experience supervising MEP technicians and specialist contractors.
• Knowledge of CAFM/CMMS systems is preferred.
• Understanding of SLA/KPI-driven FM operations .
• Strong troubleshooting, reporting and coordination skills.
• GCC Facilities Management experience preferred.

Only candidates with relevant Facilities Management / Building Maintenance experience will be considered.

❌ Candidates with construction/project experience only and no FM maintenance experience will not be considered.
