MEP Engineer – Luxury Villa Projects

Position: MEP Engineer
Project: Luxury Villas – Dubai, UAE
Company Type: Main Contractor

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate MEP works including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and firefighting systems.
• Manage day-to-day MEP site activities and ensure works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, architectural, and specialist subcontractor activities.
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure compliance with project schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and authority requirements.
• Identify and resolve site technical issues and clashes.
• Monitor material requirements, deliveries, and installation progress.
• Ensure MEP installations comply with approved designs, project specifications, and applicable UAE standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress updates and coordinate with the Project Manager and consultant.
• Support snagging, testing & commissioning, and final handover of the villas.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of MEP experience, preferably in luxury villa/residential projects.
• Strong main contracting experience is mandatory.
• Experience coordinating MEP subcontractors and site teams.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and building services.
• Experience with testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover.
• UAE/GCC construction experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of MEP drawings, specifications, and site coordination
