What they need
- Supervise and coordinate all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works for high-rise residential projects using Mivan/aluminium formwork construction technology.
- Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, GFC drawings and coordinated layouts to ensure compliance with architectural and structural drawings.
- Coordinate with structural, architectural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and ELV consultants to resolve design discrepancies and site issues.
- Ensure proper planning and execution of electrical conduits, junction boxes, plumbing sleeves, floor traps, embedded services and other MEP provisions before Mivan shuttering and concrete casting.
- Verify all embedded conduits, sleeves, openings and service provisions before each concrete pour to avoid rework, hacking and structural damage.
- Monitor installation of electrical systems, HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, earthing, lightning protection, lighting, power distribution and ELV systems.
- Supervise plumbing, drainage, water supply, rainwater harvesting, STP, WTP, HVAC and fire-fighting installations as applicable to the project.
- Ensure vertical shaft coordination, service routing, floor-wise layouts and proper integration of MEP services in high-rise buildings.
- Coordinate with Mivan/formwork, civil and finishing teams to ensure timely execution of concealed and exposed MEP services.
- Check material specifications, BOQs, technical submittals, material approvals and installation quality as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, maintain quality checklists and ensure compliance with applicable IS codes, NBC provisions and fire safety requirements.
- Monitor project progress, manpower deployment, material availability and contractor performance to achieve project milestones.
- Identify design clashes, resolve site execution issues and implement corrective actions in coordination with consultants and project management teams.
- Prepare and maintain inspection requests, daily progress reports, checklists, testing records, snag lists and as-built drawings.
- Ensure testing and commissioning of all MEP systems, including electrical installations, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting and HVAC systems, as applicable.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and site teams for smooth execution, quality control and timely project handover.
