MEP Executive

The MEP Executive is responsible for overseeing and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across projects, buildings, or facilities. The role ensures MEP systems are designed, installed, maintained, and operated efficiently, safely, and in compliance with UAE/Dubai authority standards. The MEP Executive liaises with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to manage design reviews, installations, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily MEP operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting, fire alarm, BMS, water supply, and elevators.
• You will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of company-leased property and for identifying new labour accommodations.
• Review MEP designs, drawings, specifications, BOQs, material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai/UAE regulations and authority requirements, including DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, Trakhees, DDA, and relevant codes such as NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC, and IPC.
• Manage preventive and reactive maintenance schedules for MEP assets.
• Monitor MEP budgets, procurement, invoices, variations, and vendor performance.
• Conduct site inspections, snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Support tenant fit-out approvals, permits, and coordination with landlords/tenants.
• Implement energy-efficiency measures and monitor utility consumption.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance on all MEP works.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including KPIs, progress updates, and risk assessments.
• Supervise and guide MEP technicians, engineers, and external service providers.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 + years of UAE/GCC experience in MEP projects, facilities management, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai authority regulations and approval processes.
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• UAE driving license preferred.
• Valid engineer degree or diploma
