Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Inspector which is responsible for inspecting and verifying MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, method statements, ITPs, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect MEP works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, ELV, and related systems.

2. Review approved shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and ITPs before inspection.

3. Conduct inspections at various stages of installation, testing, and commissioning.

4. Verify installation against approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

5. Raise and follow up Inspection Requests (IRs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required.

6. Monitor workmanship, materials, dimensions, levels, alignment, supports, and installation quality.

7. Coordinate with MEP engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve site issues.

8. Witness testing and commissioning activities and verify test results.

9. Maintain inspection records, checklists, reports, and quality documentation.

10. Ensure proper closure of punch-list and snag items.

11. Participate in site meetings and provide technical/quality feedback.

12. Ensure health, safety, and environmental requirements are followed during inspection activities.

13. Support final inspection, handover, as-built documentation, and project closeout.

Experience:

1. Proven experience as a MEP Inspector on building construction or engineering consultancy projects with at least 7 years relevant experience and 5 years in UAE.

2. Demonstrated experience across villa developments, residential complexes, high-rise towers, and mixed-use projects.

3. Familiarity with local authority standards and inspection procedures.
