WE ARE HIRING: MEP Procurement Engineer

Position: MEP Procurement Engineer

Summary:

The candidate must have strong experience in MEP procurement, excellent supplier coordination skills, and a well-established database/network of suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, and material sources within the UAE market.

Key Responsibility

• Manage complete procurement activities for MEP and construction project requirements.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and coordinate With suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain and actively use a strong supplier/vendor database for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing. HVAC, Fire Fighting, ELV, and general construction materials.
• Prepare RFQS, quotation comparison sheets, LPOS. procurement reports, and supplier evaluation records.
• Proactively search for new suppliers, better prices, alternative materials. and faster delivery options.
• Coordinate closely with project engineers, site teams. accounts, and for timely procurement,
• Follow up aggressively With suppliers for quotations. delivery schedules. material submittals, technical documents, invoices, and delivery notes.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites as per project requirements and deadlines.
• Verify that purchased materials match project specifications, approved brands, and client requirements.
• Support cost control by negotiating competitive prices Without compromising quality.
• Maintain proper records of supplier quotations. purchase orders, delivery notes. invoices, and documents.

Requirements:

✅ Strong knowledge Of MEP materials, suppliers. and UAE market.
✅ Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
✅ Experience With ERP/procurement systems is an advantage.Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
✅ Bachelors degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field.
✅ 5+ years Of relevant procurement experience in MEP construction/projects.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
