MEP Project Manager / Senior Project Manager - Mission Critical

Our client is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, equipment procurement, startup, commissioning, and turnover scopes on a major hyperscale data center project in Dallas.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage MEP project execution from preconstruction through turnover
• Lead procurement, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and change management activities
• Coordinate subcontractors, design teams, vendors, commissioning agents, and clients
• Oversee startup, energization, commissioning, and integrated systems testing
• Monitor project safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance
• Lead project meetings and maintain effective stakeholder communication

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience for Project Manager level
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience for Senior Project Manager level
• Direct experience with data centers, mission critical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, central utility plants, or similarly technical projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical construction systems
• Experience managing MEP packages valued at $25M+
• Experience with critical power, emergency generation, cooling systems, controls, and equipment procurement
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
• Ability to interpret MEP drawings, specifications, equipment schedules, and commissioning documentation
