MEP Sr Construction Manager

📍 Austin, TX (100% Onsite)

Contract for 12 Months | Potential Extension/Conversion

We are seeking an experienced MEP Sr Construction Manager to lead Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction activities for a large-scale advanced manufacturing facility. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a construction leader with experience delivering complex industrial, semiconductor, battery, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead all MEP construction activities from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
• Manage subcontractors, procurement, contracting strategies, and equipment buyouts.
• Drive project schedules, critical path activities, and commissioning milestones.
• Oversee HVAC, process piping, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty systems.
• Coordinate design-build efforts, BIM/Revit clash detection, and constructability reviews.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance across all MEP operations.
• Partner with owners, engineering teams, contractors, and executive leadership to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of MEP construction management experience on large industrial or advanced manufacturing projects.
• Experience managing MEP scopes on design-build projects such as:
• Semiconductor facilities
• Data centers
• Battery manufacturing plants
• Pharmaceutical facilities
• Other complex industrial environments
• Strong experience with procurement, contract management, subcontractor oversight, and project scheduling.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, power distribution, process piping, commissioning, and BIM/Revit coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification
• PMP or CCM Certification
• Semiconductor or cleanroom construction experience
• Integrated Commissioning (ICx) experience
• Lean Construction or Last Planner training
• NFPA 70E Certification

Travel: Occasional travel may be required
