  • Statutory & Regulatory Compliance in India: Secure clearances and coordinate inspections with state electricity boards (DISCOMs), Chief Electrical Inspectorate (CEIG), and local municipal bodies, ensuring strict adherence to National Building Code (NBC), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), and Factory Inspectorate norms, and maintaining fire safety standards.
  • Testing, Commissioning & Handover: Witness and log pre-commissioning checks, pressure tests, megger tests, and alignment verifications, coordinate integrated factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) with operations teams, and compile and hand over complete As-Built drawings, vendor operation manuals (O&M), and statutory test certificates.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Interface with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, Project Management Consultants (PMCs), and contractors; manage relationships with government authorities for approvals, clearances, and inspections; coordinate with equipment vendors for installation requirements and technical specifications; and ensure contractor compliance with safety standards, labor laws, and environmental regulations.

You are

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 8 to 12 years of total hands-on project execution experience, with at least 1-2 completed industrial or manufacturing greenfield projects in India.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks (BIM), and MS Project or Primavera. Deep expertise in MEP, and HVAC design and construction
  • Thorough knowledge of Indian electrical and mechanical codes, safety rules, and labor laws. Strong communication skills to bridge gaps between civil contractors, factory operations, and remote corporate management.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure site environments and solve spatial/technical conflicts rapidly. Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, and contract management.
  • Knowledge of industrial layout planning, machine installation, and equipment commissioning. Strong understanding of building codes, fire safety, structural standards, and statutory compliance.

What you'll get

  • A full-time role based in Pune.
