MEP Quality Manager - Mission Critical Construction
United States | Nationwide Travel
$120,000-$150,000 + Travel Package
We are supporting a growing organization with multiple QA/QC openings across the United States.
We’re looking to speak with experienced MEP Quality Managers who have a strong background in MEP construction and are comfortable working on large, technically complex projects.
Experience within data centers is highly desirable, although we’re also interested in professionals coming from other mission-critical, industrial, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, or similarly complex construction environments.
These positions will involve extensive travel across the US, supporting project teams in maintaining quality standards throughout construction, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and support QA/QC activities across assigned construction projects.
- Oversee mechanical and electrical inspections, testing, and quality control activities.
- Work closely with general contractors, trade contractors, project teams, and client representatives to maintain project quality standards.
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, inspection records, and other project documentation.
- Identify non-conforming work, issue NCRs, and coordinate corrective actions through completion.
- Track and drive the closeout of quality issues throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Participate in project and construction meetings, coordinating quality matters across engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and quality documentation within project management systems.
- Support commissioning, project closeout, and turnover to ensure quality requirements and documentation are completed.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Experience in a QA/QC role on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or MEP construction.
- Data center or mission-critical project experience is preferred, but experience within industrial, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, or other complex construction environments will also be considered.
- Working knowledge of applicable US codes, construction standards, and project quality requirements.
- Hands-on experience with inspections, testing, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality documentation.
- Strong written communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
- Experience working alongside general contractors, specialty trade contractors, and client-side project teams.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States and work on active construction sites.
Interested?
- If you’re an experienced QA/QC professional interested in hearing more about current and upcoming projects across the US, apply or get in touch for a confidential conversation.
