Commercial Fit Out Projects

Minimum 2 Years’ Experience

We’re looking for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across Central London .

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious QS with a strong MEP background to take responsibility for the commercial management of projects and play a key role in their successful delivery.

The Role:

• Manage the commercial aspects of MEP packages from pre-construction through to completion
• Prepare and manage budgets, valuations, variations and final accounts
• Manage procurement and subcontractor packages
• Monitor project costs, forecasts and commercial performance
• Review and negotiate subcontractor applications and accounts
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities
• Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, clients and subcontractors
• Provide accurate commercial reporting and cost advice
• Support the successful delivery of high-value commercial fit-out projects

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying
• Strong MEP / Building Services background
• Commercial fit-out experience highly desirable
• Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical packages
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Experience with subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience

Package:

£70,000 – £120,000 depending on experience
